Graduate Student, Visiting Fulbright Scholar, Majoring in Indian Literature

"My short-term dream is to teach, and my long-term dream is to write or publish. I am researching Indian literature and language pedagogy, and I would love to publish about these topics. As for my current writing and how I'm involved with the KU Writing Center, I have participated in two Writing Groups, with current membership in the International Scholars Writing Group. Being a member of Writing Groups has had a big impact on my own writing process; Writing Groups have taught me how publishing works and how receiving feedback from different people is incredibly beneficial. Now I know my strengths and weaknesses as a writer.

I am currently here at KU as a visiting Fulbright Scholar from India. I teach Hindi at KU and I have been here for 8 months. I have loved my time here and I can't wait to keep learning more about academic writing."
