I’m a grad student getting an MFA in fiction. I view tutoring as an extension of my writing and teaching here at KU. It’s a chance to work one-on-one with other students and learn what’s up with our myriad departments. I’m short in stature, so you will find me unintimidating.
I am a book-loving, whale-loving, quirky senior who is glad to return to the writing center! You can find me doing yoga at the rec, knitting, or doing community service with my sorority. Come talk to me about you writing—I’m excited to hear what you have to say!

I’m double-majoring in classical antiquities and history, because the past is cool, yo! I’m also a McNair Scholar who wrote a really long paper about men, women, and what the work of Plutarch can tell us about being either one of those things within his times. But what I really want people to know is that I have the coolest job in the world: I get to demystify some of the intricacies of writing for peers, and help students find their “writing legs.” And that – to me, at least – is even cooler than the past.
