Writing Consultants

I'm a graduate student studying creative writing with a focus in fiction, and this is my first year at the KU Writing Center. I enjoy when students explain their ideas and insights to me and realize they already know exactly what they're talking about.

I'm an undergraduate student majoring in Secondary English Education, and this is my first year at the KU Writing Center. I am most excited about meeting new people and hearing all of their thoughts and ideas expressed in their writing.

I'm an undergraduate consultant majoring in Political Science, and this is my second year at the KU Writing Center. My favorite part about working here is getting to work with students who I otherwise wouldn't have the opportunity to work with.

I'm a graduate student studying English, and this is my fourth year at the KU Writing Center. The best part about working here is being inundated with words.

I'm a graduate student studying English, and this is my second year at the KU Writing Center. My favorite part about working here is that I truly enjoy meeting such a diverse group of writers and working with such interesting subjects!

I'm a graduate student studying Global and International Studies, and this is my first year at KU Writing Center. I enjoy working here because it allows me learn about a wide range of subjects, hone my own skills as a writer, and meet intelligent and interesting people.

I'm a graduate student studying Social Work, and this is my first year at the KU Writing Center. I enjoy working here because it gives me a chance to help students develop confidence in their writing, as well as getting to meet and interact with new people from the KU community.

I'm a PhD student studying English Literature, and this is my first year at the KU Writing Center. I enjoy working here because it enables me to interact with people on a one-to-one basis and to help people develop their writing and rhetorical skills.

I'm an undergraduate student majoring in English (Rhetoric & Composition), and this is my first year at the KU Writing Center. I enjoy working here because peer-tutoring allows both the writer and consultant to become better writers through sharing creativity.

I'm an undergraduate student majoring in Sports Management, and this is my second year at the KU Writing Center. My favorite part about working here is being able to work with so many unique and interesting people.

I'm a graduate student studying anthropology with a focus on Archaeology, and this is my first year at the KU Writing Center. I love being able to help students translate their diverse and ambitious thoughts into words on paper. It's always a wonderful bonus when they recognize how empowering their writing can be!

I'm a graduate student in the department of Curriculum and Teaching focusing on TESOL, and this is my first year at the KU Writing Center. My favorite part about working here is meeting students who are studying in a variety of fields and getting to collaborate with folks I might not otherwise have gotten to know.

The greatest part about working here is being rooted in the diversity of the subjects and backgrounds of each of the student writers whom we serve; I learn something new and exciting within every consultation.

I'm a PhD English Rhetoric & Composition student, and this is my first year at the KU Writing Center. The best part about working here is the relational, face-to-face aspect of consultations.
