"Since I was young, I have been interested in Arabic poetry, which translated into a love for writing in English. I am a graduate consultant for the KU Writing Center, but I also write academic articles in the field of special education, specifically reading comprehension instruction for secondary school students and evidence-based practices. My biggest goal of writing is to aggregate theoretical data in order to provide teachers with evidence-based strategies that improve students’ outcomes. I enjoy working at the KU Writing Center because the positive attitude of all the staff. I also enjoy helping others with their writing.
Three interesting facts about me include that I am the father of twins, I love to cook, and I am an avid soccer fan, especially of my favorite team in Saudi Arabia, Hilal."
