Create. Compose. Communicate.

"For me, writing started in my life when my mom had me write letters to my grandpa in Mumbai. I would also write poems as a documentation of my experiences and about important changes in my life, like coming to the U.S. I also enjoy travel writing, and I've gotten the chance to do this because of all the traveling I've done in my life. My sense of nation has never been one; I was born in Oman, but my parents immigrated from India. My multinational background has also inspired my writing.

For my future career, I would like to go into Medical Planning, especially in rural areas of the world. I've worked in under-served areas in both Kenya and Kansas, and I find inspiration from working in these places. I don't plan to stop writing in my future career; it will always be an important part of my life."
