Summary

I am a third year doctoral graduate student at the University of Kansas. My focus is in Musicology looking at religious music of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries and how they transitioned into becoming more secular rather than sacred works. But my primary research concerns the early music of British composers Ralph Vaughan Williams and George Butterworth and the friendship these two had in 1910s. When I am not researching, I enjoy reading books, listening to music, watching movies and going to baseball games.
