Faculty Consultations

Our professional staff members are happy to assist faculty and instructors with designing assignments that incorporate writing into their courses. In addition to delivering in-class workshops for your class (see the page on workshops), we can consult with instructors on assignment development and responding to student writing.

If you're interested in a one-on-one consultation, review the options below and book a consultation using the links. Consultations are available virtually or in-person in Anschutz Library 424. Email us if you have any questions.

Feedback Skills Consultations

Meet with Dr. Samantha Demmerle to hone your feedback skills for all types of student writing assignments. Feedback is an essential part of the writing process, and students of all levels benefit from constructive and adaptive feedback. Faculty members can meet with Dr. Demmerle to discuss student feedback at different stages of the writing process, feedback for students with different needs, constructive vs. critical feedback, setting student expectations for feedback, and more!

Writing Assignment Consultations

Collaborate with Jennifer Rupp from the Center for Learning & Writing Support on how to incorporate more writing into your courses, enhance your writing assignments, create strong writing rubrics, or other topics related to writing in the classroom.
