Graduate Writing Coaching
Graduate Writing Coaching can help you simplify graduate school!
Appointments will begin the second week of classes and run until Stop Day.
The KU Writing Center's Assistant Director, Graduate Writing and Support works exclusively with graduate students to help them learn how to improve their graduate-level writing. Coaching sessions are held for graduate students whose needs go beyond the Writing Center's traditional graduate writing consultations, including adjusting to graduate level writing, overcoming writer's block, publishing journal articles, writing grant/fellowship applications, and completing academic job applications. In addition, students can receive project management support, which can be particularly helpful for those in the thesis/dissertation writing process.
To schedule an appointment, click on the link above, log into your Jayhawk GPS account, and select Learning Support Services. Then select the "topic" which best describes your needs, and the date. The Assistant Director's schedule should populate, and you should be able to pick your appointment time. If you have any issues, please reach out to the Assistant Director, Samantha Demmerle at email@example.com.
